Myota Cyberstorage for Objects

Myota Cyberstorage for Objects is S3-compatible object storage with security built into the storage itself. You use it the way you already use S3: buckets, objects, access keys, and the S3 API. Underneath, every object is encrypted and, with Shard and Spread™, fragmented and spread across independent locations, so no single location holds a complete, readable copy.

What you get

  • S3 compatibility. Connect the S3 tools, SDKs, and applications you already use. See Connecting over S3.

  • Ransom immunity at the storage layer. Data is protected by Shard and Spread™ at write time, not by a security layer added afterward. See Security and resilience.

  • Immutability. Keep objects write-once with Object Lock. See Versioning, Object Lock, and lifecycle.

  • Resiliency without redundancy. Your data stays recoverable even if a storage location is lost, without keeping full extra copies.

If you just need to store and use objects, Get started and How to Use Myota Bucket are all you need. Security configurations to protect your data covers advanced setup, such as IAM policies and shard repositories, for teams that want it.

How it fits

Myota Cyberstorage for Objects is the object-storage product of the Myota Cyberstorage platform. The same foundation also powers Myota Cyberstorage for Files (Vault).

Next steps

  1. Create a bucket and set up a user and access keys.

  2. Connect over S3 to point your applications at your endpoint.

  3. Integrations to connect applications and S3 tools.
