Command-Line Administration

Myota Cyberstorage for Files is delivered as a managed service. The application servers, the database, and the underlying storage are operated by Myota, and there is no shell access to them.

Everything a tenant administrator needs is available through the admin console and the provisioning API. Where the upstream platform exposes a setting on the command line, the same setting is exposed to you in one of these places:

  • Admin console. User and group management, sharing policy, quotas, classification, retention, the File Firewall, and audit configuration.

  • Provisioning API. Programmatic user, group, and share management for automation and identity-provider sync. See the provisioning API documentation.

  • Myota support. Anything that requires a change at the platform level. Raise a request and it is applied by the team that operates the service.

If you find a setting documented here that you cannot reach through the console or the API, that is a gap worth reporting rather than a limitation to work around.
